Three time Stanley Cup and fourteen division title champs, the Chicago Blackhawks, have been going strong since they were founded in 1926. After sixty seasons of play at the Chicago Stadium, the Chicago Blackhawks were granted their own United Center arena in 1994.

When the franchise began, it was headed by Frederic McLaughlin who knew very little about hockey but, with his savvy business knowhow, was able to create an outstanding team. The Blackhawks were named after McLaughlin's military 86th Infantry Division during World War I (the "Blackhawk Division").

In the past few seasons, the Chicago Blackhawks have made several changes to their team, including a few changeups of players and coaches. The team has ended the last few seasons in top divisional spots as well as leading the NHL in home attendance of fans. Last year, the Blackhawks announced their one millionth fan of the season at the United Center.

The Chicago Blackhawks are continuing to impress their large loyal fan base and it has become increasingly more difficult to attain Blackhawks tickets. If you want to see a game at the United Center arena, buy your Chicago Blackhawks tickets early!
