Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars franchise was founded in 1967 out of Minnesota as the sixth NHL expansion team. For 36 years, the team was known as the Minnesota North Stars. With financial problems, the team was forced to switch ownership and merge with the Cleveland Barons. This merger brought numerous talents to the team which brought the North Stars all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1981. It was downhill from there so, in the 1993 NHL season, the franchise moved to Texas and became the Dallas Stars.  Dallas Stars tickets go fast!
