More Info
Meet Dany Heatley, a forward for the Minnesota Wild.

Dany Heatley was born on January 21, 1981. Heatly was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers, second overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. After being responsible for a car crash that killed teammate and friend Dan Snyder, Heatley requested a trade and was subsequently dealt to the Ottawa Senators.

Dany Heatley has represented Team Canada in six World Championships, two Olympics and one World Cup of Hockey. In 2008, Heatley surpasses Marcel Dionne as Conada's all-time leader in goals and Steve Yzerman as the all-time leader in points for the World Championships.

Dany Heatley played with the NHL Atlanta Thrashers from 2001-2005, the Ottawa Senators from 2005-2009 and the San Jose Sharks 2009-2011. The Minnesota Wild then traded Martin Havlat for Dany Heatley.

Minnesota hockey fans hope that Dany Heatley is the answer to the Wilds scoring inconsistencies. Heatley loves to shoot and Wild fans love a good shot so buy Wild hockey tickets today and see if Dany Heatley can "heat up" the red lamp.
