Marco Scandella was selected by Minnesota Wild in the 2nd round, 55th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Originally from Montreal, this Canadian hockey player was thrilled to join the NHL.

Scandella played for the AHL Houston Aeros and got his chance to make an NHL debut on November 12, 2010 when the Wild played the Florida Panthers. Marco Scandella scored his first NHL goal during the first game of the 2011-12 NHL season against the Columbus Blue Jackets in front of a sold out Xcel Energy Center crowd.
